I'm Dave Hicks and I've been in business for about a year. I have spent a bunch of happy hours camping as a kid and later with my own children. I grew up in Texas and raised my kids around the Dallas area. Texas has lots of great places to camp and , except for the mid-summer, has lots of great days to be out of doors.<BR><BR>I've had the privilege of traveling to some foreign countries like Mexico, Brazil and China and I've met some great people who need to make a basic living. So I thought I would come up with a product that these good folks could make and I would sell it here in the US.<BR><BR>So, I started researching some product ideas and met a great guy would was a fishing guide in Utah. He and his Boy Scout troop came up with an idea of a sleeping bag liner (a fleece sack that goes inside the sleeping bag) that has special pockets for warming devices. Now Boy Scouts are used to warming rocks and putting them in their bags, but my friend John thought of putting chemical hand warmers into the pockets - much more comfortable and safer.<BR><BR>So I got my wife's sewing machine out and came up with the design you see on the front. We've sold a couple of hundred and have gotten some great feedback and ideas for improvements. So, I'm working on that now.<BR><BR>So thanks for your interest in Toasty Liner.
